This ensures that students have access to trainers who are at the cutting edge of developments in theory and research, as well as supervisors and trainers who understand the challenges of providing optimally effective CBT in health and social care settings.
Our Training programmes include our long established Post Graduate Diploma in CBT which is a level 2 Accredited Programme with the BABCP. Graduates who successfully meet the requirements if this course will be able to demonstrate that they have met the minimum training standards required by the British Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Psychotherapies for accreditation as a CBT Practitioner. Due to the current expansion of the national IAPT programme, this course is not currently open for applications
We also offer a Post Graduate Diploma in CBT as part of the Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (IAPT). This programme prepares trainees to work as High Intensity Therapists within Primary Care settings. We are also very pleased to be offering a professional clinical training in Behavioural Couples Therapy. This programme is at an advanced level and is appropriate for CBT Practitioners who have attained BABCP accreditation.
